Blissful (or at least QUIET) Ignorance

Listening to Kevin and Karen patiently explain to the other that the other person was just wrong about computers and networks and practical applications thereof until I had to go to bed and shut the door in disgust (well, and also I was really tired) makes me remember one thing:
This is why I don’t know, or plan to know, anything about computers.
Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

One Response to Blissful (or at least QUIET) Ignorance

  1. Gris says:

It wasn’t an argument. He was trying to convince me that I was using the wrong technical term for something. I already *knew* it was the wrong term. The reason we use the wrong word at work was one of tradition and convenience, and he was arguing that using the right word was more important than being understood. So, technically, computers had nothing to do with it. 😀
