So, every day, during my lunch, I leave work and go to visit Penny at daycare. I used to spend a half hour or so there, playing with her, but the past couple months or so, her class has started taking a nap at noon, so I mostly just go in to check her chart, make sure there weren't any serious injuries, and then depart. Every once in a while, she's awake, and when that happens, I get to stick around and play with her and collect future blackmail material, but that's a rare event indeed.

A couple weeks ago, I did my visit, and she was sleeping, so I checked the chart and was on my way out of the building when the director leapt up from her seat at the computer behind the counter.

"Hey," she said. "How much do you know about... calculus?"

"Erm... not as much as I did ten years ago," I admitted.

She slumped. "Oh. I just have some homework, and... you just look like that kind of person who... you know..."
