you know, i don’t know whether to laugh, cry, or go find a lead pipe to beat joe morgan with.
he’s a moron. a clueless, incompetent moron who doesn’t know half of what he pretends to know, and even less of what he talks incessantly about during an actual ballgame.
when will ESPN finally wise up and replace joe with tony gwynn (who’s articulate, intelligent, and provides real insight into the game.)
for that matter, when will fox sports get rid of tim mccarver? replace him with cal jr; he’s already announcing regional games for fox sports net.
all i want is to listen to a baseball game without the incessant blathering of some idiot. skip carey does an excellent job, but he only does braves games.

tony gwynn, tim raines, and peter gammons for analysis between innings (unless steve trachel is pitching; then, you could probably hold two rounds of labor negotiations between pitches).
but, fuck it. there’s less than five days of baseball left this year. and, if we don’t have the series and playoffs because the fucking players are too petty to earn one or two million less per year, then they can all go fuck themselves, too.
unless the mets get some good players out of the deal. then, everyone but the mets can fuck off.
