This was a "test" that a few of us found around the 2000 election that I found to be particularly insightful as it goes beyond the normal "left – right" designations. Have fun!

Wow. I’m such a radical.
I’m a leftist libertarian! -6.88 Econ, -6.0 Social
gah, you would think I would have posted what I got.
I just took it again, and I came in at 0.38 econ and -5.69 social.
Having taken this multiple times, I am always pretty centrist on the econ front (I have seen myself lean left and right depending on when I take it) and always very libertarian on the social front (I’m actually suprised I scored so close to 0 this time). It might be interesting to see how my values shift between midday and midnight (it being 2am at the moment).
I was actually surprised at my score since I always thought I was something of the moderate around here. Though taking a look at Gris and Jeremy’s scores that might still be the case. Leftist Libertarian, -4.50 econ, -4.77 social.
Economic Left/Right: -2.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.79
So left libertarian is me too.
-.250, -3.18.
Leftist Libertarian. Though, I think that if I retook it, I’d end up a little more Libertarian. Like most of these quizzes, there are always questions that could go either way, and some of my Agree or Disagrees could easily be a Strongly. Depends on my mood…
And, the big surprise, I’m not the most-left of those returning results.
Economic Left/Right: -5.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -5.49
I don’t how how much of that is waffling over softly worded questions and going with Agree/Disagree more than Strongly Agree/Strongly Disagree.
But enough of these litte measley surveys, who wants to take the NPAT?
And I’d like to make a point of distancing myself from the ‘Libertarian’ moniker, as Libertarians tend to be people who think roads and sewers are things that just, y’know, happen and turn themselves blue by drinking ionized silver.
Economic Left/Right: -5.00
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -7.59
On this scale, though, I would have to say that I’m still an economic “don’t always understand it well enough to have an opinion.”
Economic: -5.25
Libertarian: -4.97
/me thinks Mattchew may perhaps have overlooked someone a wee bit, and makes room to her right for him.
Um… ::rubs her eyes and rereads, and decides to shuffle off to bed in shame::
You think I’d overlook you, Karen? Indeed…. ;-)
Just for curiousity, I took it again this morning…
Economic Left/Right: -2.62
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.21
Pretty close to my first score, so at least I’m consistent…
Well, I was awfully close…
Economic Left/Right: -6.62
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.26
I guess this is what comes of being a librarian. :D
I like the compass. It is good.
Aren’t we supposed to get more conservative as we get older?
Economic Left/Right: -5.50
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.10
Wow…
I’ve moved again….
Economic Left/Right: -1.75
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.79
